Rose Hope Animal Refuge is a small non-profit, no kill animal rescue in Waterbury, CT. We are strictly a volunteer organization.
We have an adoption center located in the Waterbury Petsmart where we keep some of our cats and kittens that are ready to be adopted. For a complete list of our pets, please check our site at rosehope.petfinder.com There are always more pets in foster care that can be seen on our websites.
If you are interested in one of the cats please contact Cathy from Rose Hope at the Waterbury Petsmart (203-596-9997) during cat adoption hours: Tues. & Fri. 6:30p.m.-8:00p.m. Sat.1:00p.m.-3:00p.m. Sun.12:00p.m.-2:00p.m.
Our dogs can be seen on Saturdays, 1-4pm, at our weekly adoption event, also in Petsmart. If your interested in a particular dog, please contact us prior to the event so we can be sure to have the dog with us. Remember, the dogs are in foster care and we do not have all our adoptable dogs at each event. If we make an appointment with you to meet a dog, we must require a confirmation (within 2 hours) prior to the appointment (phone call or email) or we can not guarantee a Rose Hope representative will be there.
We are trying to help the homeless cats & dogs in the Waterbury area. We are a small group of people who really care about animals. We try to educate the public on the importance of spaying and neutering their pets. If you are feeding cats, you must find a way to also spay and neuter them (check out the H.O.P.E. clinic for low cost spay/neuter options) as well, otherwise you are becoming part of the problem. So please join us in our mission. Do whatever you can in your own neighborhood to help felines in need. Become part of the solution.
